ISI Publications is the publishing division of WWWoods & Co. The imprints and titles generated under the ISI Publications moniker have been part of the capital markets content landscape for more than 25 years.

Originally started in Hong Kong in 1991, ISI grew to have a presence in London, Bermuda and Canada and has originated more than 250 titles, predominantly in the capital markets and e-commerce fields.

ISI’s service offering includes:

  • Editorial services, layout and design;
  • Self-publishing services;
  • Marketing and media planning; and
  • 24 x 7, global on-line editing services.

ISI can assist an author or corporation working on content presentation, whether on-line or hard copy in any aspect of the process.

Just some examples of projects we have undertaken are:

Creation and Publication of the Practitioner’s Guide to the Listing Rules of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.  Now in its 10th  edition.

Creation and Publication of the first ever, loose-leaf Practitioner’s Guide to Securities Laws and Regulations in the People’s Republic of China.  Lasted for 6 years with bio-annual updates.

The publication of a report Explaining Hedge Funds in the Sharia’h Context for the Dubai International Financial Centre. Our role was to identify experts in the area, and to commission the editorial, as well as design of cover and layout. We printed several hundred copies and the client then bought the rights to print or distribute electronically as many more copies as they wished.

The development of the How to Start and Grow a Hedge Fund imprint, which geographically grew to include separate titles on the US, Europe, Asia, and Canada. This series attracted several sponsors, including Dechert LLP, State Street, Bank of Montreal, and Morgan Stanley. Each title was updated several times.

As an example of a single author project, the publication of the international best seller, B2B Exchanges by Woods and Sculley. A text book example of successful self publishing and disintermediation, this title was edited and published in six weeks, climbed the best seller list (through media attention), and went on to sell 75,000 copies and was translated into and sold in six languages.
